Danish duo Anëk deliver their two-track ‘Chemistry’ EP as they head to Solid Grooves Raw this July.
With releases to date via distinguished imprints including VIVa MUSiC, Roush, and Gruuv amongst others, Copenhagen’s Denise & Karina Jensen, aka Anëk, are amongst house and tech house’s most in-demand duos. Regulars throughout their careers at the likes of Steve Lawler’s Warriors and Sankeys, July now welcomes a return to Solid Grooves following their remix of label co-founder PAWSA’s ‘Triple Fwet’ in 2016 and appearances for the collective from London to Ibiza, armed with two fresh productions in the form of their ‘Chemistry’ EP set for release on sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw.
Title cut ‘Chemistry’ sees the pairing open the package with a groove-heavy lead effort guided by sharp, metallic drum shots, sweeping sonics and a deep rumbling bassline, whilst second cut ‘Patinka’ lays the focus on skipping hats, crunchy drums and dubbed out vocals to close proceedings in style.
