When it comes to the Anjunabeats label and family, ilan Bluestone is a household name. Releasing on the imprint since 2011, it’s fitting that Anjunabeats will be the home to ilan Bluestone’s first full-length album, Scars. Following the pulsating beats of “Frozen Ground” and anthemic “Bigger The Love”, the latest single, “Another Lover,” shows a softer side to the LP.
Featuring the vocals of Katie from UK bass duo Koven, the rolling groove and vintage synth work give ‘Another Lover’ a timeless trance feel. With a debut that’s as beautiful as the track itself, “Another Lover” had its first airing during Above & Beyond’s AGBT 250 show at the famous Gorge Amphitheatre, capturing hearts around the world via the online livestream. While ilan Bluestone’s “Scars” proves his ability to dabble in any sub genre, incorporating unexpected dubstep sounds the LP, “Another Lover” reminds fans that he’ll always have a penchant for melodic trance.
Ilan Bluestone’s debut Scars LP is out on Anjunabeats in 2018, while his ‘Scars’ tour dates continue until the end of the year.
