ANTS prepare for closing party

Having welcomed a host of names throughout the season at Ushuaia Beach Club, leading underground day and night party ANTS is preparing to round off its residency with a show-stopping closing party on Saturday 26th August.
 
Returning to Ushuaia after their ANTS debut back in July will be the distinctive sound of Gorgon City, the crossover London duo that made massive impact with ‘Ready For Your Love’ last year. Influenced by a range of sounds within the house-garage spectrum, Gorgon City’s party-minded style will be accompanied by the emotive leanings of Danish producer Kölsch whose slot at the closing party follows his hugely-successful album release of ‘1983’. A special performance by former Azari & III vocalist Fritz Helder is also scheduled – following his collaboration with Andrea Oliva on his debut album for ‘Turn Off The Dawn – along with slots from loyal ANTS member Route 94 and residents Los Suruba and UNER, who will all be brought together by ANTS’ driving force, Andrea Oliva.
 
With its ethos built around the workers and the ever-growing colony, the ANTS eye for details has seen the residency gain huge recognition in the short space of three years. Its 2015 season has seen some of the biggest names in house and techno pass through such as DJ Sneak, Maya Jane Coles, Deetron, Fur Coat and Pete Tong, as well as appointing key residents Ben Pearce, Los Suruba and UNER. The brand has also expanded further and seen global takeovers at Creamfields UK –  plus a stage within their Ibiza programme – Barrakud and Extrema, with further collaborations scheduled at ADE and Snowbombing festival.
