Anturage, Alexey Union & Catmoonk Unveil Romantic Indie Dance Anthem “Don’t Cry”

Three distinct creative forces collide on “Don’t Cry”, the latest release on Yulia Niko’s AXEPT label. Anturage and Alexey Union, long-time collaborators known for their deep, melodic soundscapes, join forces with Catmoonk, a singer-songwriter and producer whose evocative vocal performances bring a raw, human touch to electronic music. The result is a deeply atmospheric and emotionally charged indie dance track that seamlessly blends underground club energy with haunting, introspective lyricism.

Set against a backdrop of lush soundscapes and vibrant rhythms, “Don’t Cry” is not just a song; it’s an experience. Its uplifting vibe is perfect for listeners seeking solace in music that reflects the joyful essence of love and connection.

At its core, “Don’t Cry” is a story of longing and resilience, wrapped in a hypnotic groove that pulls listeners into its immersive world. Layers of moody synth textures and deep, rolling basslines provide a rich foundation, while shimmering arpeggios and subtle percussive details build tension throughout the track. Catmoonk’s vocals – soulful and ethereal – float above the arrangement, delivering a performance that is both intimate and expansive. The interplay between his emotive delivery and the track’s pulsating rhythm makes “Don’t Cry” a compelling listen, whether on a late-night dancefloor or through a pair of headphones in solitude.

“This collaboration was born out of a shared passion for creating something beautiful,” says Alexey Union. “Each of us brought our unique flair and expertise, resulting in a piece that truly embodies love and talent.”

Alexey Union, a DJ, composer, and producer from St. Petersburg, has carved out a reputation for his signature fusion of melodic house and deep, spiritual soundscapes. His productions have landed on esteemed labels like Disco Halal, Sol Selectas, and Radiant, and earned support from tastemakers such as Solomun, Pete Tong, and Tube & Berger. His frequent collaborator, Anturage, is a driving force in the progressive and deep house scene, with a sound that has resonated across Europe’s underground circuit.

Adding a unique dimension to “Don’t Cry” is Catmoonk, an artist whose musical journey spans opera, jazz, rock, and electronic music. His distinctive hybrid approach – melding live vocals with deep, cinematic production – has captivated audiences at festivals and clubs worldwide. Having already collaborated with Anturage and Alexey Union on the breakout hit “Turn Around”, Catmoonk once again proves his ability to craft songs that blur the line between emotion and movement.

Together, these three artists have created a track that is both melancholic and uplifting, nostalgic yet forward-thinking—a testament to the power of collaboration in pushing electronic music’s emotional boundaries.
