We’re proud to announce from Saturday 4th April to Saturday 27th June, Benji B will present Deviation for 13 weeks back to back as XOYO’s second quarter resident.
It’s been two years since Deviation made XOYO their home and we’ve thrown some legendary parties together so it felt a natural step to invite Benji to take part in our residency series.
A long time in the making, it feels good to finally be able to reveal the full billings for Benji B’s 3-month run. Centered around carefully thought-out concepts, Benji’s programming is some of the strongest we’ve seen.
With highlights including Four Tet, Floating Points and Abdul Forsyth (founder and owner of the legendary Plastic People) on Saturday 11th April, a triple-headline billing of Zomby, Wiley and Kode9 on the 25th April and man-of-they-year Mark Ronson appearing on Saturday 16th May – it’s safe to say we’re beyond excited for what’s to come.
Benji’s billings pay homage to Deviation’s rich past, with nods to club family and favourites…
Watch out for Zinc’s old school set where he plays alongside Todd Edwards (Saturday 18th April), Hudson Mohawke in June and a Detroit Legend who’s been playing for Deviation since 2007, Moodymann on Saturday 13th June.
Room 2 has been paid special attention with Benji B’s clubs classics series… Fabio’s readying an extended ‘speed’ era set while Leon Vynehall and Maurice Fulton are in the basement, Seb Chew and Leo Greenslade bring back West London’s Yo-Yo for one night only with Balance and Rotation also down for room 2 sessions. The series culminates with Goldie and Metalheadz as they present Blue Note (a party that’s gone down in history as one of drum & bass’ most important) – please note, this closing night will be invite only (hold tight for more details).
Let’s not forget the opening party, one of ours and Benji’s favourite MCs Skepta is set to shut down the dance (as he’s been doing for the last decade). Stay close for the announcement of the secret special guest on Saturday 21 March – he’s a producer that Benji and crew have supported from the beginning, very excited for this.

THURSDAY 2 APRIL
JACKMASTER PRESENTS TWEAK-A-HOLIC ROOM 2: DIXON AVENUE BASEMENT JAMS
Jackmaster’s Tweak-A-Holic party was one of the highlights of his residency with us last year and perfectly personifies his approach to DJing; namely, to have as much fun as possible
behind the decks with no pretension whatsoever.
His Tweak-A-Holic mixtapes are also an excellent reference point for an insight into his love of the 80s era of the dance spectrum, covering all bases from r’n’b, boogie, disco, funk and house. All in all, it’s the perfect way to soundtrack the start of your Easter holiday.

BRODINSKI ALBUM LAUNCH + MYD + GUILLAUME BERG ROOM 2: VIRGIL ABLOH
It’s always a pleasure to welcome back French maestro Brodinski, and this time it’s extra special as we’ll be commemorating the launch of his debut album, Brava.
A frenetic performer, his sets veer across the board from techno and electro to hip-hop and trap. The Bromance boss’ new record is said to be “infused… with all the influences that
have fueled him over the years,” from Nine Inch Nails to Erol Alkan and Three 6 Mafia. To
join in with the celebration will be Myd and Guillaume Berg downstairs and Virgil Abloh in
Room 2.

B.TRAITS + MAK & PASTEMAN
Radio 1’s B.Traits is back for her second innings of Thursday night parties… For this session, she welcomes UK duo Mak & Pasteman to the billing. Sure to be a bass-heavy night spanning
house, techno and D&B – do not miss this.

JONAS RATHSMAN + ISAAC TICHAUER + DARIUS ROOM 2: MIGHTY MOUSE
Jonas has gone a long way to prove his value to the dance music community, his releases on
French Express and remixes for the likes of London Grammar, Tensnake, Duke Dumont and Sam Smith have established Rathsman as a driven and forward thinking producer and DJ.
With new record ‘Wolfsbane’ out on Disclosure’s Method White, Jonas returns to XOYO for a headline session this April. Joining him comes FE boss Isaac Tichauer and young French
talent Darius…

HENRIK SCHWARZ + MATHIAS KADEN + HARRI & DOMENIC ROOM 2: KIWI
When you think of German house you tend to think of one name above all others – Henrik Schwarz. His beloved entry into the DJ Kicks series still sounds fresh to this day, thanks to an innovative blend of funk, soul, jazz, house and techno which has earmarked Schwarz as one of the most versatile and adventurous DJs on the circuit.
Joining him will be Mathias Kaden who shares a love for percussive and tribal house, and Blasé Boys Club’s Kiwi.
Much loved Sub Club duo Harri and Domenic will be taking over the controls in Room 2 all night long.
