After being named ‘Best Global Label’ at this year’s International Dance Music Awards in March, Armada Music is proud to add another prestigious award to the list. Today, the Amsterdam-based record label snatched up the award for ‘Best International Label’ at the Promo Only Summer Sessions 2018, coming out on top amongst contenders such as Anjunabeats, Ministry Of Sound, Monstercat and Spinnin’ Records.
Celebrating its 11th edition this year, Promo Only Summer Sessions is a three-day music industry gathering held in Atlantic City in the United States. The music conference features everything from informative panels to networking events, and ends with an award show where awards are given to artists, radio stations, programs and labels based only on the votes of hundreds of American music industry professionals. It’s the first time Armada Music has won the award for ‘Best International Label’, a crown to the hard work and tireless dedication that’s been propelling the label since its inception in 2003.
Maykel Piron, CEO Armada Music: "The award for ‘Best International Label’ at the Promo Only Summer Sessions 2018 is a very prestigious one, so naturally, we’re over the moon with this amazing result. We’ve got a great setup here with nothing but very passionate and dedicated people, and it feels great knowing that our efforts are recognized by some of the most influential music industry figures in the U.S. at one of the leading music conferences in the world.”
