With the chart entry of Armin’s tenth title for the A State of Trance Yearmix series, he achieves high ranking on the acclaimed albums-chart. A grand total of 20 albums to chart-to-date, the Dutchman received the news right before kicking off his A State of Trance 650 – New Horizons world tour. Next to ASOT650 shows in cities such as Miami, Yekaterinburg, Buenos Aires, Kuala Lumpur and Utrecht in celebration of the 650th episode of his radio show, he also continues his extended Armin Only – Intense tour. The tour is based on one of his latest highlights – smash album ‘Intense’, peaking the Billboard charts at number two.
The first single of the album, ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ feat. Trevor Guthrie, is nominated for the Grammy award on ‘Best Dance Recording’. On January 26th, Armin van Buuren finds out if he takes home the Grammy award and beats competing nominees Zedd, Calvin Harris, Kaskade and Duke Dumont.
