Asdek Returns to Form With Gritty, High Caliber Bass House Banger “Talk About” on NIGHTMODE

French producer Asdek makes his NIGHTMODE debut with “Talk About,” a hard-hitting bass house weapon built to shake the floor. Born in Montpellier and now based in Paris, he’s carved out a signature sound that blends the grit of hip-hop, the pulse of techno, and the swing of UK garage, all colliding here in a return to the style that first put him on the map.

“Talk About” is unapologetic from the jump, driven by distorted basslines that snarl beneath frothy tones, booming drum hits, and shrilling textures. Trap-inspired horn stabs punch through the mix, while chopped rap vocals add raw grit to the track’s relentless momentum. Every element is designed for impact, a reminder of Asdek’s instinct for building dancefloor weapons that thrive on tension and release.

The French producer’s catalog is stacked with collaborations alongside industry leaders such as Habstrakt, Petit Biscuit, Tony Romera, and Cazztek, while his remix credits span heavyweights including Knock2, Dombresky, Flux Pavilion, Apashe, and Bijou. Asdek’s music continues to see support from some of dance music’s most influential selectors, from DJ Snake and Skrillex to RL Grime, Tchami, Malaa, and Jauz.

Currently in the midst of his Summer Tour with festival stops at Rose Festival, Villepinte, and Bruz, Asdek has been testing “Talk About” across stages for months, each time igniting crowds with its raw drive. With his NIGHTMODE debut, Asdek reaffirms his place at the cutting edge of bass house while gearing up for an even bigger chapter ahead.

“I’m super excited to finally sign this bass house banger with NIGHTMODE, especially after my remix of ‘Murdah’ a few years ago. It’s a label that keeps pushing artists I really admire, and it feels special to be part of that roster now—just before heading to the U.S. for my first-ever tour.”—Asdek
