Audiojack welcome Wyatt Marshall to Gruuv to deliver ‘This & That’ EP w/ a remix from Chambray.

Audiojack welcome Wyatt Marshall to Gruuv to deliver his ‘This & That’ EP this June, accompanied by a remix from Chambray.

A rising fixture of the West Coast’s electronic scene, San Francisco / Los Angeles based artist Wyatt Marshall has been making waves over recent months following recent releases via Percomaniacs and Desert Heart Records, plus a string of notable appearances at the likes of Sound and Exchange (Los Angeles), Space (Miami) and Bang Bang (San Diego). Following a recent return to Claude VonStroke’s renowned DIRTYBIRD imprint, here we see a debut outing on Audiojack’s Gruuv label as the American artist delivers three fresh original cuts, accompanied by a remix from German talent Chambray.

Lead cut ‘This & That’ opens the package as Marshall combines resonant melodies, regimented percussion and warped vocal hooks, whilst ‘Heat Stroke’ utlises a series of rich stabs, refined hi-hats and warped, murky lead synths. Next, ‘Transcendent’ combines off-kilter melodies, crisp drum licks and infectious female vocals, before Chambray implements dubbed out pads amongst brooding synths and hefty kicks as he reveals his remix of the title track ‘This & That’.

Wyatt Marshall ‘This & That’ is out on Gruuv on 7th June 2019.

Tracklist

1.             This & That
2.             Heat Stroke
3.             Transcendent
