Nuri - Aurora / Wild Life / Lean On Remix

Gifted DJ and producer Nuri has put his name behind some remarkable projects in the past few months. After releasing his stellar debut single ‘Blue Lagoon’, Nuri has also put his signature on other wonders like: ‘Right Back’, ‘India’ and ‘Reasons’, landing several Beatport chart placements – aside from starting his own weekly radio show ‘Horizon’.

Nuri is also making a name for himself through a consistent stream of top-notch free releases, which he offers to his fans from week to week. Having recently put out: ‘Summer’, ‘Twist’, ‘Drop That Bass’ and ‘Transform’ he is now back to form with another set of three exciting freebies: ‘Aurora’, ‘Wild Life’ and a remix of Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On’.

First up is a marvellous Progressive House effort, ‘Aurora’. Blessed with up-lifting, dreamy melodies ‘Aurora’ is a true banger. A mesmerising chorus spices this track up making it another amazing addition to Nuri’s growing catalogue.

On the other hand ‘Wild Life’ explores Nuri’s darker tones, boasting harsher melodies and enticing rhythms. Infectious drops and solid beats are the driving force behind this tune, presenting a diverse side of Nuri’s sound.

The third offering is Nuri’s rendition of Major Lazer’s worldwide hit ‘Lean On’. The Nairobi based talent has managed to put an ultimate twist on this production, giving it a unique Trap vibe, whilst basing the vocals on the original MØ take. This is another stunning remix by Nuri following his renditions of ‘Jammu’ and ‘Darker Than Blood’.

Nuri’s new free tracks are once again a showcase of his eclectic style, able to dabble into a wide range of sounds inspired by: EDM, House, Dubstep, Trap and other electronic music genres. Nuri’s quality music and his extraordinary ability to switch styles is making him one of the most interesting artists around and he’s definitely on the list of producers to watch out for in 2015 and the years ahead.
