Awakenings Festival announces 2017 lineup!

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June, between 11.00 and 23.00 hours, the premises of recreational area Spaarnwoude Houtrak will be dedicated to Awakening Festival, the best-known and largest outdoor techno festival in the world, with over 110 artists spread over 8 stages in capacious areas, among which 2 large-scale outdoor stages.

20-year-old Awakenings has managed to contract a number of resounding names. Paul Kalkbrenner will make his come-back with a new live show. The presence of Wighnomy Brothers has also been assured. They have reunited for a few exclusive shows, of which Awakenings is one. And on Sunday, stages will be hosted by, among others, Adam Beyer with Drumcode and Joris Voorn with Spektrum.

Awakenings is also excited to confirm, among others, the presence of Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalabos, Maceo Plex, Chris Liebing, Joseph Capriati, Dave Clarke, Tale of Us, Loco Dice, Floorplan, Weval, The Black Madonna, Black Coffee, Len Faki and KiNK.

Awakenings is the largest and best-known techno festival in the world. In April the threshold of 200 parties organized will be broken, representing over 2000 hours of partying. Moreover, a total number of 1.5 million visitors will be reached. Techno in all its diversity will be showcased; besides the biggest names of the contemporary scene there is as always also lots of space for new talent, new sounds and the latest, state-of-the art developments in the area of light, sound and stage set.
