Bakermat - Baby

Dutch DJ/producer Bakermat has revealed his new single, ‘Baby’, out now via Dirty Soul/B1 Recordings/Ultra Music.
 
Bursting with energy, ‘Baby’ flaunts hard-hitting drum patterns and a driving bassline, surrounded by a soaring female vocal. Warm piano chords and the Dutch producer’s signature saxophone hook later come into the fore, adding a melodic element to the track.
 
Recognised for his uplifting house style, Lodewijk Fluttert better known as Bakermat has helped establish the house sound in dance music. His single ‘One Day (Vandaag)’ has amassed over 47 million Spotify plays, peaked in the Top 5 of several European singles charts and went platinum in Germany. Bakermat sampled the vocals of Grammy Award winning singer Shirley Caesar for his follow up single, ‘Teach Me’. Premiered by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, the lively track gained over 20 million Spotify plays and was later reworked by revered American producer, MK. His recent single ‘Living’, features the rich vocal styles of British singer/songwriter Alex Clare.
 
In 2015, he launched his ‘Bakermat’s Circus’ live show, which saw the Dutch DJ sell out 2 dates at London’s Electric Brixton. Bakermat has since toured his circus-themed sets in New York, Amsterdam, Paris, Brazil and Malta. He has also played at numerous illustrious festivals including Tomorrowland, CRSSD Festival and SW4, as well as playing coveted Ibiza residencies alongside David Guetta and Kygo.
