David Jach is not afraid to look back for his inspiration and does so again here on a fresh new release for the With Compliments label. His one kicking original comes with remixes by Agent and Okain and is another fine feather in his bow.
All three cuts have this own unique style and will be used at different points in the night. Up first, Jach layers up sliding and skidding hi hats, pumping vocal stabs and fat old school drums that sound turbocharged and meaty. They cannot fail to get you up as cowbells and rim shots echo out into the party air all around them. Oaken then flips the script and offers a deep and dumpy house tune with rolling rubber drums and spine chilling synth slivers. Agent then rounds out the package with his tightly coiled tech remix.
Hi hats sound like knives as they cut up the groove, vocals are loopy and cut up and there is real energy in the whole affair. As such this is handy package for lovers of all types of house music.
