Paul’s Boutique founder Paolo Martini joins Repopulate Mars with three infectious cuts this January.
Spanning over 30 years, the Italian producer’s illustrious career is a testament to his abilities in the studio. Perpetually consistent, recent years have reinforced his reputation having appeared on renowned imprints such as Hot Creations, Gruuv, 8Bit, Moon Harbour, Emerald City and Snatch! Having received regular support from Lee Foss over the years, Martini now debuts on Repopulate Mars to kick-start 2018.
Organic drums and a compelling groove lay the foundations for ‘Bad Pitch’ whilst sci-fi inspired whirrs, a funky bassline and catchy vocals are incorporated into the mix. ‘To Hell & Back’ is darker and moodier in comparison, with its rumbling low-end, crunchy snares and fluttering effects. Tying things together, ‘Roller Jack’ hits hard thanks to reverbed drums, infectious claps and a medley of elements geared for the dancefloor.
