Barbara Tucker  ‘Think (About It)’ (The Micfreak Fire Drum Dub) Unquantize

After having a brilliant year on the label in 2019, Unquantize have commissioned Baltimore’s Micfreak, for a killer underground remix of Barbara Tucker’s rendition of ‘Think (About It)’. To drop a quick fact, the original track is by Lyn Collins and produced by James Brown in 1972 and is actually the No. 3 most-sampled record of all time. Bang up to date, Micfreak delivers a bouncy drum lead groove with cut up vocals, a catchy piano hook, deep stabs and airy synth washes, primed to smash the peak hours. Great energy here!
