Barber & Pete Madigan – Back To Go Forward

Phonetic Recordings are proud to present ‘Barber & Pete Madigan’s ‘Back To Go Forward’.

The original was taken out to Ibiza this Summer and serviced to the Island’s DJ’s, with a string of rave reviews. Initially road tested by our very own Rob Roar, this was a must-have signing to the Phonetic label.
 
Stepping up on remix duties is Robert James of Hot Creations fame, who delivers a quality remix giving us an insight into the talent that he is. Phonetic protégé Jay Robinson has been causing Global dance-floor damage fast hailing a string of Tastemaker fans including Laurent Garnier, Eddie ‘Temple’ Morris, Mixmag and TS7 (Kiss FM). Al Bradley, one of the fabric London residents, takes things on a deeper Tech journey, which is already doing the business on the Fabric dance floors.
 
Barber has been hailed by Phonetic artist D.Ramirez as “A star in the making” with DJ Magazine featuring the producer in their July edition segment; ‘Rewind’
 
Barber is a busy boy, hosting a monthly radio show on Bloop London and a bi-monthly DJ residency at London’s East End gem; The Rhythm Factory and his ‘Faceless Recordings Presents……’ parties.

Over the years Barber has worked with numerous labels including OFF Recordings, Nervous NYC and Columbia Records, who asked Barber to remix the mighty Depeche Mode and their ‘Should Be Higher’ release.
 
Barber learnt to play keys on blues & jazz scales at an early age setting him off on his musical journey. Combining his flair, originality and improvisation; Barber constructs masterful pieces of music through pure feeling and emotion. Barber also performs live, including shows at Festivals such as Nature One & Winterworld with the exquisite set filmed by BE-AT.TV. Barber’s productions with Live-Act Saytek have received extensive support from a cross-section of fans, most notably being championed by Viva Warriors Chief, Steve Lawler, dubbing it as his favorite track and playing nearly every set through the summer of 2014.
