BAUGRUPPE90 Takes off With Raw, Groovy Techno Single “Flight Tracker” on HARD Recs

German underground duo BAUGRUPPE90 are bringing their authentic rendition of techno to HARD Recs with “Flight Tracker,” a tune that is just as heavy and hypnotic as it is groovy and high-spirited. With its raw and timeless sensibilities, the track is set to dominate clubs throughout the winter months, and is in prime position to slide into a host of day-into-night sets closer to summer solstice.

Hailing from Berlin, BAUGRUPPE90—which consists of founding members Louis Köhler and Paul Vogler—channels all the history and innovation from electronic music’s longstanding techno mecca into their first release of 2025. The low-end of “Flight Tracker” will push the limits of any sound system with a kick and bassline that seamlessly meld into a united force of sheer power. Higher up in the frequency range, the duo explores their widespread influences, integrating coruscating deep house chord blasts, drum & bass MC vocal chops, and warm, body-moving pads.

BAUGRUPPE90 shares how a jaunt on the road Stateside led to the track’s creation: “In the spring of 2024, while we were busy building our studios, we found ourselves on a whirlwind mini US vacation. With little time to make music during the week of construction, we took advantage of our little vacation to create. One memorable moment was during a layover for a flight to Chicago, where we pulled out our laptops at the airport and sketched out what would become ‘Flight Tracker’—You can track a flight, but none of our unreleased.”

Having only launched the project in 2020, BAUGRUPPE90 exploded out of the studio to become one of this decade’s most-watched acts in techno. The “less is more” approach has served them well. Known for straddling the line between futuristic and vintage across their growing catalog, they keep fans and fellow DJs alike on the edge of their seats. From their breakout remix of Anja Scheider’s “All I See” to their string of innovative EPs including ‘Artcessoire’ and the more recent ‘Groove Constructor,’ the production pair has proven they know what goes into creating unforgettable dancefloor experiences. Last year, they showcased their skills as hotly-tipped selectors during their ‘Boiler Room: Budapest’ live stream, alongside like-minded artists, including Ferrari Rot, LUXE, and Merve

As their latest offering, “Flight Tracker” is another irrefutable reason why BAUGRUPPE90 deserves to be on the radar for discerning heads around the world. It is a welcome addition to their impressive and experimental catalog, and will surely be a centerpiece of their sets throughout 2025.
