BBC Music Introducing Launches First Dedicated Dance Stage @ Creamfields UK

BBC Music Introducing will be launching at Creamfields 2017, it’s first ever dedicated electronic stage, welcoming a selection of specially curated under-the-radar electronic artists from around the UK.

We're proud to welcome to Creamfields this year BBC Music Introducing, who will be hosting a stage at the festival for the first time.   BBC Music Introducing have nurtured the careers of some of the world’s biggest artists including James Bay, Florence and the Machine, Jack Garratt, Jake Bugg and Slaves have all graced festival stages around the world over the last 10 years.

BBC Music Introducing supports unsigned, under-the-radar and undiscovered music, and has a presence at some of the key UK music festivals throughout the year, including Radio 1's Big Weekend, Glastonbury and Reading/Leeds Festivals.

The BBC Music Introducing first ever dedicated dance music stage, will present live acts and DJs within the electronic music scene who have been selected via 38 local BBC regional Introducing shows along with Radio 1 DJ’s picking their favourite artists to perform on the new stage.

DJ, producers and live electronic acts can upload their music via the BBC Music Introducing website: bbc.co.uk/introducing.

Rachel Coomber, Editor, BBC Music Introducing says: "We're very excited to be bringing the BBC Music Introducing stage to Creamfields for the first time, and especially delighted to be broadening the musical scope of BBC Music Introducing and taking it to one of the leading Dance Music Festivals in the world.  Brand new up-and-coming DJs, producers and live electronic acts from around the country, selected by the BBC, will be able to play alongside some of the world’s biggest artists and their performances will be recorded for broadcast across radio and online”.
