Having played in the biggest clubs all over the world we are delighted that he will be playing with us at the intimate basement club we call home, DAB. Music policy on the night will be on a house and disco tip with Joey showcasing his vast knowledge and talent across both styles. Prepare to get down.
More info on Joey if you need it!
Joey was one of the first artists to incorporate disco samples in house music when he began his production career in 1988. He has had enormous commercial success with many of his own mixes and productions as well as producing for some of the biggest names in the charts, he is firmly rooted in disco and underground house.
Last year’s “Under the Influence” volume 2 was widely regarded as one of his best compilations so we are looking forward to some serious dance-floor nuggets. Joey has produced more than 20 compilation releases over the years including his “Joey Negro In The House” release on Defected, “Disco Spectrum 1 – 3 (BBE)”, “Jumpin’ series”, “Disco (Not Disco)”, “Southport Weekender Volume 1”, “Nite Life” and “Back In The Box” releases on NRK. Some of these mixes are amongst our all time favourites so needless to say we are just a little excited.
Joey will be joined on the night by BCHP residents Sam Riddington and Guy O’brien who’ll be warming the floor up nicely.
