Michael Bibi - Be Mine/Pressure EP

London’s Michael Bibi returns to his Solid Grooves imprint with a rumbling two tracker plus a remix from Zürich based producer Sabb.

Despite launching just a year ago, Michael Bibi and PAWSA’s Solid Grooves Records has firmly placed itself as one of the most exciting new labels in the scene. What started out as a UK event series has swiftly developed into a weekly sell-out event in Ibiza and a hotbed for releases from artists such as Dennis Cruz, Wade, ONNO and Reelow.

Kicking off the package is ‘Be Mine’ with its punchy snares, disembodied bleeps and a soulful male vox, before ‘Pressure’ delivers rhythmic percussion, hypnotic vocals and a rumbling low end. In Sabb’s remix of ‘Be Mine’ the Moon Harbour and Saved producer immediately lays down a groove possessed by energy that runs alongside distorted samples and infectious hats.
