BE PART OF THE BURN RESIDENCY EXPERIENCE

Over the last months burn Residency has been offering aspiring DJs the chance of a lifetime; to win a summer long residency at one of the top clubs in Ibiza.
 
Over 5000 people from more than 90 countries applied globally, and just a few weeks ago, via a series of mixes and mix-off events across the world, 18 hopefuls were picked to represent their country at the burn Residency final in Ibiza.
 
You can become part of the burn Residency journey and back your favorite DJ in the burn Residency series. Watch as the DJs experience the highs and lows of Island life as they endure a demanding fortnight designed to cover all aspects of what it takes to become a successful DJ and Producer, taking part in 3 challenges set along the way. Starting with a mix-off event on the very first evening they touched down on the island, these challenges also included a remix competition judged by Maceo Plex and the Sunset challenge, carrying with it the chance to play the Sunset slot at the world famous Café Mambo. Stakes are high as the winners guarantee themselves a place in the final 6 as well as the opportunity to perform live on Ibiza Sonica Radio.
 
This is your chance to see what went on when burn Residency mentors Avicii, Fatboy Slim, Steve Lawler, Solomun, Maceo Plex and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) flew in to impart their knowledge in the form of bespoke masterclasses. Whether it’s production tips from Maceo Plex, lessons on how to stand out from the crowd by Fatboy Slim, or the importance of good management from Avicii, this year’s mentors were on hand with money-can’t-buy advice designed to equip these budding DJs with the essential knowledge and skills to nurture and advance their careers.
