“Be Vol.5”: Five years of emotion from Be Your Own Studio

Be Vol.5” marks the fifth anniversary of Be Your Own Studio and stands as a testament to the label’s artistic maturity — a celebration of emotion as the purest essence of music. Split into two parts, the compilation gathers producers from around the world, each contributing to a fluid and heartfelt narrative that feels both introspective and universal.

The first chapter opens with Oxbin – “Breaking”, a track charged with emotional tension that sets the tone for what’s to come. Nau Leone – “Freefall” follows with an airy, cinematic atmosphere that captures the sensation of total freedom. ADMZ – “Traveller” leads the journey inward, built on hypnotic grooves and subtle depth, while Tony Side – “Itza” adds a tribal, percussive energy that feels raw and vibrant. CARMICHAEL & Gleezy – “Becoming” glows with sensitivity, an elegant rise toward transformation, before Ena B. – “Daydream” drifts softly between imagination and reality. Bryn Liedl – “Reconcile” closes the first half in catharsis — a sense of balance rediscovered after a voyage through emotion.

The second part opens with Oxbin – “A Brighter Day”, a radiant piece that embodies renewal, followed by Unsui – “A New Sky”, graceful and contemplative in tone. Gleezy – “See Right Through” unveils a fragile emotional core, while Idriss Reina – “MØDE” brings club energy and refined pulse to the flow. Simon Neviani – “Under The Rain” adds a cinematic melancholy, leading into INARE – “All I Ever Wanted”, a tender interplay of nostalgia and longing. The journey concludes with OCKTIVE – “How deep would you dive in?”, a closing question that encapsulates the spirit of the entire release — an invitation to dive fearlessly into one’s emotions.

Be Vol.5” is more than a compilation; it’s a collective portrait, a celebration of human connection and artistic honesty, where every track becomes part of a shared story — that of a label which, over five years, has turned music into a living expression of truth.
