Akin to the ‘good company’ mission, our talented friends and composers Chris Luzz and Ehsan Akbari a.k.a. Beartrax give GCR the first taste of their new found musical partnership. The pair have been in the fold of our good company for some time and deliver two original tracks that simultaneously combine the strengths and individual tastes of both artists. Chris’ love for acid and Beartrax’s mellifluous meshing of violin strings infuse the project with the tone suggested by its title track, Darkness Falls. The four track EP is backed with remixes from Marlowe, from Cadenza and Nite Grooves fame who steps in on ‘Darkness Falls’ with a rendition featuring his signature complex percussion grooves and GCR co-founders, Roddy & Rusty who offer up a spirited dose of psychedelia and breaks in their interpretation of the b-side ‘Clicksan’.
