Beat-Herder Festival announce very first Thursday line-up with Roger Sanchez, Franky Wah & more
Beat-Herder, the weirdest, wildest and most joyous party in the UK festival calendar returns for 2022, running from 14th – 17th July.
After a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and with heart-breaking back to back postponements, Beat-Herder is back and bursting with excitement to deliver just what the world needs and what its faithful following deserves: a technicolour escapist party set in the lush Ribble Valley in Lancashire.
Returning to celebrate Beat-Herder’s belated 15th birthday, thousands of eager, devoted revelers have rolled over their tickets, which makes this year extra-special in reuniting the biggest festival family in a much-anticipated comeback, which has now sold out for the fifteen year running.
Celebrating electronic music in its many forms, Beat-Herder is thrilled to make its line-up announcement for 2022. In a Beat-Herder first, the event will take place over four days, with opening day Thursday’s line-up a mashup of global icons, legends and party starters.
Heading up the Toil Trees, Beat-Herder’s spiritual heartland is the Grammy award-winning American DJ Roger Sanchez; the Yorkshire based house producer and DJ Franky Wah, revered selector and producer, Melé; multi-faceted producer and DJ Meg Ward, and Hifi Sean, known for his electronic, psychedelic soul music.
Trash manor have installed festival favourite and headline live act HENGE, plus their in-house All-Stars crew will bring their intoxicating mix of heavy beats all the way through til midnight with Lindsey Walsh, Exe Project and Kenneth Kaos. Thursday will also see the opening of Smoky Tentacles in the Stone Circle field with Brockout, and Duck & Cover Soundsystem, and all the venues on the Street will be live and pumping, including The Parish Church, Hotel California, The Garage and Julie’s Barn for those seeking DnB and jungle beats.
