BEC Teases Forthcoming EP With New Single ‘Be Here Now’

Following a mammoth debut on ARTCORE Records with her single ‘Loca’ in March, one of techno’s most dynamic talents, BEC, continues her rich vein of form with another underground gem to add to her ever-flourishing catalogue. Returning to her staple home of Factory 93, the Berlin-based talent teases her forthcoming EP with the release of its first single ‘Be Here Now’.

A staunch contributor to the esteemed LA-born imprint, BEC’s latest offering follows her 2023 EPs ‘Phantasy’ and ‘Stereoscopic’, both of which received an outpouring of love from across the international techno community. Set to follow in their mighty footsteps, BEC’s latest record is an exciting glimpse into the full extended-player, which is set for release in July.

A high-octane techno cut born from the influences of Berlin’s storied club culture, ‘Be Here Now’ pays homage to the city’s lust for high BPM sets. Seamlessly blending old school rave-ready synth work with modern production values, BEC curates a heady web of percussive intricacies that drive the rhythm forward. Bolstered by its beckoning vocal line and BEC’s soft melodic nuances, the single lends itself impeccably to those after hours moments; testament to BEC’s mastery of the genre and her ability to transport audiences to sonic bliss, both on and off the dancefloor.

Renowned for her rapid ascent in the techno realm, BEC’s journey from obscurity to acclaim has been paved with passion, tenacity and, above all else, innate talent. With an impressive portfolio of releases on many of the industry’s leading labels, including Trip, ARTCORE, Filth On Acid and Drumcode, to name a few, BEC has well and truly solidified her position as one of the genre’s brightest stars.

Aside from gracing Beatport’s top charting territories, BEC has enjoyed equal success behind the decks. Playing everywhere from Burning Man to Tobacco Dock and Warehouse Project, she has enjoyed standout solo shows across Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, and now looks ahead to her performance at EDC Las Vegas in May.
