Ben & Vincent craft a colourful journey with Zoa EP on Wayu Records

With their Zoa EP, Ben & Vincent deliver a stunning auditory experience that masterfully blends cinematic grandeur, organic textures, and cutting-edge electronic sound design. This immersive release comprises four original tracks and four transformative remixes, each weaving together a rich narrative inspired by William Blake’s mythical Zoas—representations of reason, passion, instinct, and creativity. The result is a profound exploration of the human experience through music.

The journey begins with “Emily’s Prelude,” a breathtaking collaboration with composer Will Hyde, whose orchestral brilliance has graced Disney films and Hans Zimmer scores. This cinematic opener merges symphonic elegance with subtle electronic nuances, setting a majestic tone for the EP.

The title track, “Zoa,” channels raw, primal energy with its jungle-inspired rhythms, evoking the untamed power of nature. The accompanying remix by makeke reimagines the track as a hypnotic dancefloor journey, characterized by intricate beats and pulsating basslines that amplify its wild essence.

On “Rintrah,” Ben & Vincent collaborate with Magupi to create a mystical soundscape steeped in organic instrumentation and haunting melodies. Ohxala’s remix elevates this narrative, transforming it into a meditative exploration of ambient textures and tribal rhythms, connecting listeners to a deeper, spiritual plane.

The EP concludes with “Flying Circus,” a playful yet complex composition that radiates uplifting energy. Akira Arasawa and Timboletti take the track in two distinct directions—one as a pulsating, dancefloor-ready anthem, the other as an immersive, organic house journey that expands the EP’s emotional and artistic breadth.

Ben & Vincent’s Zoa EP is more than just a collection of tracks—it’s a masterful storytelling experience. Each piece unfolds like a chapter, seamlessly blending emotion, imagination, and artistry to create a release that resonates long after the final note. Whether it’s cinematic opulence, tribal depth, or hypnotic grooves, Zoa EP cements Ben & Vincent’s place as true visionaries in electronic music.
