Berlin’s – Pop-Kultur Festival and Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs 2016 announced

In 2016, »Pop-Kultur« will spread its wings in the Berlin district of Neukölln from August 31st – September 2nd. Successfully debuted in 2015 (10.600 guests) at the Berghain, in the district of Friedrichshain, »Pop-Kultur« Festival announces details for its second edition. »Pop-Kultur« Festival 2016 will be held in numerous legendary locations throughout Neukölln – featuring concerts, readings, talks, DJ-sets, movie screenings and numerous first and exclusive performances.

The independent »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs« program – which took place in the workshops of the Stage Services Company of the Berlin Opera Foundation in 2015 – will now also take place in Neukölln. Once more, young hopefuls and makers of tomorrow will be brought together with musicians and experts from various other industries.
 
»Pop-Kultur« is and remains a festival standing for artistic diversity and openness

Festival manager and CEO of the Musicboard Berlin, Katja Lucker, in cooperation with the two curators Martin Hossbach and Christian Morin, chose specific places in Neukölln, that represent cultural diversity and openness. Since 2015, the festival is providing a space for the city’s professional culture and music scene to exchange with other national and international heads of the creative industries.
