We are delighted to announce that Shy FX’s Party on the Moon is back at Bestival spreading dancefloor lunacy into The Future. One of the biggest hits at our Summer of Love, don’t miss their epic takeover on Thursday night, completing the line up in our biggest and most-lively undercover venue, the Big Top.
Rob da Bank says: “Our opening extravaganza on Thursday is gonna be off the scale! From a druidic opening ceremony to The Fatback Band, Hot Chip and a host of great acts put together by Shy FX it’s gonna go off!”
Shy FX added: “Shy FX quote: Gassed! Party On The Moon at Bestival… Thursday night in the Big Top will be fire!
Topping Party on the Moon’s line-up is the Digital Soundboy himself Shy FX, plus they’ll have original bars from Peckham’s finest MC, Giggs, superfly disco-funk legends The Fatback Band will break out the boogie, and expect on-point bass marauding from genre-swerver Redlight. There will also be more fire from drum & bass don General Levy, super-hot tip Nadia Rose, and fast rising selector Masterstepz. Check out all the action from their explosive Bolllywood takeover last year here!
But that’s not all! There will be even more ace Thursday action in the Big Top with headliners and Bestival’s virtual house band Hot Chip, Oxford rockers Glass Animals, future soulsters Snakehips and The Future kicks off with our cosmic Druid Opening Ceremony. Throughout the rest of the weekend, the Big Top will also be graced with Richie Hawtin, Katy B, The Human League, Odesza, Leftfield, Jagwar Ma, Animal Collective and many, many more.
Giving you the Future of festivals now, don’t miss out on our Robin Hill adventures. Keep an eye out for the omens: www.Bestival.net, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram / Tumblr
