Scotland’s largest electronic music event is set to be the festival of the summer with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Slam, Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier and Rødhåd heading to the Riverside Museum in just three days time
With just three days to go until some of the world’s biggest names in electronic dance music descend on Glasgow’s Riverside Museum, festival organisers of The Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival have revealed the full festival offering including improvements that are set to make the forth consecutive Riverside Festival, the best one yet.
A new site layout, multiple bars, an earlier start time of 14:30, a unique hospitality area and world class production are all set to give the 2016 Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival the edge, delighting over 12,000 fans on the banks of the Riverside Museum once again.
For the first time ever, The Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival will have a Belgian Beer Garden from headline sponsor Heverlee. The beer garden, inspired by Heverlee’s Belgian hometown of Leuven, will serve up authentic Heverlee lager alongside gourmet fries with traditional Belgian toppings. This special addition to the festival will help create a party atmosphere in the Heverlee Beer Garden which will also feature live street art from Antwerp based street artist DZIA and Glasgow’s Rogue One, who will be creating murals which nod to Belgian and Scottish culture.
The festival have doubled the range of bars and drinks offerings on the banks of the River Clyde & Hospitality area located in the 19th Century street museum serving Prosecco, cocktails and much more.
There’s a whole other host of amazing local eateries and street food vendors on site this year including Glasgow’s Laneways Collective who will bring together the best street food Glasgow has to offer. The famous The Fish Plaice Pop Up Seafood Kitchen & Bar will be onsite for the first ever time as well as vendors On Rotation Rotisserie, Julie’s Malaysian Street Food Kitchen and Glasgow coffee roasters.
All tickets already purchased can be picked up from Laneways, Gordon Street Lane (next to Republic Beir Halle), between 1pm and 7pm, Tuesday 24th – Friday 27th May. All food and drink vouchers are available from Tickets Scotland on Argyle Street in Glasgow.
