Billen Ted spice up the dance floor with new single ‘Pepper’ alongside Chapter & Verse and ILIKERICO

Billen Ted, the acclaimed production and songwriting duo, turn up the heat on ‘Pepper’, their latest dance anthem in collaboration with Chapter & Verse and ILIKERICO, out 6th October on Black Butter Records. 

 

‘Pepper’ is a house collaboration with DJ Chapter & Verse and artist ILIKERICO. The former is one of the fastest rising producers in the global House scene; whilst the latter is the alias of Ricardo Gold, whose lyrical finesse has made him an emerging talent in the UK rap space. 

 

Another club banger to add to Billen Ted’s recent discography, this track follows records with iconic dance vocalist Kah-Lo, the addictive summer heater ‘Feel The Burn’, and ‘Blessings’, a collaboration with fellow producers Punctual. Capping off a hectic summer, ‘Pepper’ is another standout addition to Billen Ted’s impressive discography, which already includes a UK #1 hit and a BRIT nomination.

 

Billen Ted are a London-based production and songwriting duo formed by Tom Hollings and Sam Brennan. Besides their work as accomplished hitmakers, they have also handled production duties for artists like 220 Kid, Becky Hill, MNEK, LANY, Rain Radio, RAYE, S1mba, Melanie C, and Gracey. After a brief stint playing in death metal bands, the pair made an unlikely transition into the world of dance and pop music with their debut single ‘Satisfied’ (2020), which was built around a sample of Chaka Khan’s ‘I Feel for You’ and notched up over a million plays on streaming platforms. In 2021, Billen Ted collaborated with singers Gracey (‘Got You Covered’) and Mae Muller (‘When You’re Out’), and reached the top of both the UK Singles Chart and the UK Dance Chart with a remix of Nathan Evans’ viral hit ‘Wellerman’, originally a sea shanty from New Zealand. The remix also earned them a BRIT Awards nomination in the category of Best British Single.

2023 has been a busy year for the duo, with smash singles including ‘Do U Want Me?’ with Joel Corry, Elphi and Sam Ryder, as well as remix work for Rudimental, Allesandra and Tai’Aysha.

 

Chapter & Verse is one of the fastest rising UK DJ/producers in the global dance and electronic music scene. Having received major nods from the industry elite including Alesso, Green Velvet, Roger Sanchez, Sonny Fodera and Gorgon City among others, his tracks continue to regularly break the top of the Beatport charts. 2021 has seen Chapter & Verse showcase his unique style of tech house and mastery of vocal production with popular releases coming on Thrive, Atlantic, Repopulate Mars, Big Beat & Island to name a few. ‘Pepper’ is ILIKERICO’s first foray into dance music, with the artist providing slick vocals over this groovy club banger. ILIKERICO is the alias of Ricardo Gold, whose lyrical finesse has made him an emerging talent in the UK rap space. Exploding onto the rap scene in 2020 after his incendiary debut release ‘Mmv’, the Dominican and Jamaican artist has flaunted his potent penmanship while co-writing for the likes of international superstarIdris Elba. This new artist project, however, is Ricardo’s first foray into dance music as he looks to provide faultless vocals over groovy club bangers.

Continuing their upward trajectory with a sizzling house collaboration, ‘Pepper’ is set to be another fan favourite for the London duo Billen Ted.
