Bimini & ABSOLUTE. collaborate on euphoric cut ‘Keep On Dancing’ – Out Now

Bimini’s DJ career since RuPaul’s Drag Race success is soaring, with a packed release schedule – this time teamed up with ABSOLUTE. for upbeat club cut ‘Keep On Dancing’, out now on Relentless Records.

Bimini’s first single ‘Heartbreaker’ has already kicked off Spring with wins inc. Beatport ‘Radar’ pick for March, a First Spin from Arielle Free, and support on KALTBLUT, Noctis, SiriusXM, Foundation FM (regular show), Reprezent… Add to that a powerful politically-fuelled speech at the Metro Pride Awards, plus supporting Confidence Man at their BRITS after party.

A DJ long before RuPaul came knocking, in this new career phase Bimini has recently become HE.SHE.THEY’s newest resident, playing Torture Garden & opening for Groove Armada. Alongside that, they’ve a massive online presence, a Top Ten Sunday Times best-selling book, and take part in fashion campaigns for Calvin Klein, Selfridges, H&M and Maison Margiela

ABSOLUTE.: London-based Mixmag cover star, DJ/producer and live performer, ABSOLUTE. emerged from the LGBTQ+ scene to win tastemaker support (Pete Tong, Blessed Madonna…). His new single with Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) is just out.

‘Keep On Dancing’: More housey than their previous nu-disco vibe release, there’s a tasty big slice of ‘that’ immediately memorable, relatable Korg 90s house piano to enjoy, plus a strong beat with a jump in it, and Bimini’s own clear, bright vocals celebrating the ‘bass kickin’…down the house’. Lively, upbeat, and packed with dancey goodness. Spring has sprung for sure.

‘This track is a love letter to the dancefloor—where I found myself, my community, and some of the most important people in my life, like ABSOLUTE.’ Bimini says. ‘We met over 10 years ago in the heart of Queer East London’s club scene, and that energy, that raw euphoria, is exactly what we wanted to capture with ‘Keep On Dancing.’ We’re losing spaces, culture is under threat, but the dancefloor has always been a place of resistance, joy, and connection. This song is a reminder to fight for that, to celebrate it, and to never stop moving. It’s also just an absolute stomper and you better blast it out loud this spring and PLAY THE MUSIC BABY!’

‘This track serves as a reminder of the power in coming together as a community’ ABSOLUTE. says. ‘I found my queer family on the dance floor in East London, over a decade ago, when I first met Bim. We can’t underestimate how much we can affect change when we come together on the dance floor. When we keep on dancing, we have the ability to empower each other, and that feels more necessary than ever in these uncertain times, both in nightlife and the wider world’.
