Bit Float is next up on Snail Juice records, a label with a rich history of keeping up the fine tradition of Detroit labels being some of the best in the world. The two cuts he serves up here are both tantalising affairs that cannot fail to get a big reaction when dropped on the right floor.
Deep Blue goes first and is an up tempo, pumping house cut with lots of great melodies raining down the face of the cut. It has muffled voices buried deep and rubbery drums driving it along and really is a classy piece of work. Ritual then keeps things a little deeper and more stripped back. Warm kicks are lazy and way down low as wooden hits and rumbling synth stabs keep things driving along. Both cuts here are well produced and fresh sounding and as a result are essential additions to any record bag.
