Black Eyed Peas’ Apl.de.Ap drops beautiful new single ‘I Wish’

From the studios of Apl.de.Ap, one third of iconic supergroup Black Eyed Peas, comes new single ‘I Wish’, out now on all global streaming services via Fankee.

A delicate, beautiful tale of regret and lost love, Apl’s reflective topline floats across shimmering guitars, plucked strings and gently rolling percussion. Airy and light, ‘I Wish’ is indicative of Apl’s personal music style, produced by long-time artistic collaborators Edgar Sino (Artek606) and Jamir Garcia, who sadly passed before the song was released.

Speaking about the single and his friend, Apl said, “It’s a fun song that talks about something that we’ve all felt at some time or another. You know they’re not the right one but, still, you wish. Miss you, Jamir.”

Working with Fankee’s unique release proposition, Apl has unlocked a quarter of the single’s master rights for fans who want to acquire splits and become co-producers on the single, and a further 50 splits for fans who create the most engaging social media content using the track.

The single marks the beginning of a huge year for the Filipino star. As well as a major run of new solo music and his usual stacked global tour diary performing with fellow Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am and Taboo, Apl will also announce several key artistic and philanthropic endeavours outside of music. From farming and agriculture to fashion and art, Apl’s growing influence as an ambassador and a voice for Filipino culture will become increasingly prevalent as 2025 unfolds.

APL.DE.AP ‘I WISH’ IS OUT NOW ON ALL DSPS AND DOWNLOAD SITES VIA FANKEE.
