After receiving hundreds of entries to the Black Hole Distribution ADE Challenge, Black Hole have finally chosen a winner: Sasha Gradiva.
Sasha Gradiva
Before Gradiva was featured in Rolling Stone and other major media outlets after her media frantic Grammy appearance, she first introduced her electronica infused tunes with a slew of hard-hitting underground performances in New York clubs. Her “hook addictive” song writing, powerful vocals, and fashion forward avant-garde style immediately gained attention and traction in the US music industry. She dropped records “I’m on Fire” and “Pandemonium,” both charted on dozens of online radio stations. Her debut US single “Wanted” shot up to Billboard #3 on the Hot Dance Singles Sales chart, launching her first US tour. Gradiva’s decision to make her shows a hybrid between Pop and EDM was road tested at clubs and brought her a new wave of fans. Putting on shows to crowds of over 300,000, she shared the stage with large artists, including Icona Pop and Emeli Sande.
By winning the ADE Challenge, Sasha wins a one-year contract with Black Hole Distribution.
The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Challenge was held by Black Hole Distribution as a search for talented artists that visited the Dutch capitol for the annual dance event. The results of the challenge were astonishing; hundreds of talented DJ’s, artists and labels have entered in the competition.
