The refined and first-rate output of Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings has attracted an ever-increasing fanbase since it’s inception in 2012. Renowned for astute artist selection and forward thinking releases, the Dutch label now announces the addition of groundbreaking producer and DJ Wildstylez to its already accomplished management roster. The Dutch producer’s remix of MAKJ and Thomas Newson’s ‘Black’ is out now on Protocol Recordings and is available via all digital retailers.
The success of the original track, an infusion of big room and electro that dominated the festival season, firmly planted producers MAKJ and Thomas Newson on the map after it was premiered at Ultra Music Festival Miami to a rapturous response.
Remixing such a track is no mean feat but Wildstylez has successfully kept the pace and high-energy of the original whilst simultaneously adding his signature hard dance suffusion. An electrifying production layered with grandiose orchestral synth lines, euphoric pads and crisp percussion. Wildstylez has thus delivered yet another smash hit to add to Protocol Recording’s already expansive catalogue of world-class cuts.
