Blissfields announce more acts…

Following the announcement of headliners Dizzee Rascal and Everything Everything, Blissfields has now unveiled a second wave of acts for the summer event. Pioneering DJ and producer Shy FX, UK’s foremost emerging hip hop artist Loyle Carner, and BRITs Critic Choice Award nominee Frances lead the new music announcement. Already hinted at, and now confirmed, Blissfields will stage a full human-sized opened dollhouse as the centerpiece of the 2016 House Party theme. Also unveiled is a brand new area dubbed The Bay featuring a sandy beach, pier, and after-dark boat parties. Tickets are on sale now via blissfields.co.uk for the June 30th to July 2nd event in Hampshire.

The Mercury Award winning platinum selling crossover grime-pop legend Dizzee Rascal will see in the House Party vibe in blockbuster style, sharing headliner duties with Everything Everything, who in 2015 released their second top-10 album “Get To Heaven”.

Fellow Mercury Award winner – DnB pioneer Roni Size – with Dynamite MC also join the bill, alongside some guaranteed summer highlights Sundara Karma, Jones and longtime Blissfields favorites Dub Pistols and Beans On Toast.

Breakthrough jungle pioneer, producer (Dizzee Rascal), remixer (Plan B, Naughty Boy/Wiley/Emili Sande), and DJ in his own right Shy FX now joins the line-up, as do rising Manchester four-piece post-punk outfit and future festival essential Spring King. Fresh from a nomination for the Brit Awards’ Critics Choice and BBC Sounds Of 2016, Frances adds an elegant pop backdrop to the festival, while Loyle Carner brings what NME describe as “sensitive and eloquent” and The Guardian as a “confessional hip-hop” style of rap.

Also nominated for the BBC Sounds Of 2016 award, Billie Marten adds more to Blissfields ongoing dedication to bring the biggest breaking acts to the festival, with Rationale following shows at London’s Village Underground and Scala venues with an appearance.

Across the festival DJ Barely Legal and Isaac Gracie make their debuts, as Mary Miss Fairy and Mini Da Minx return for another ride.
