"Without a doubt the parties are a festival highlight- Can't wait to be back there playing sunshine sounds in the chalets. I think it definitely makes the festival what it is." – Tuckshop

This years headliners are none other than George Clinton, one of the inventors of funk music, and one of the best in a category of greats that includes James Brown, Bob Marley, Prince, Otis Reading, Miles Davis, Fela Kuti.. Playing with the 16 piece Parliament Funkadelic – one of the tightest bands in history.

Coming straight out of New Orleans will be none other than Tru Thoughts' own Hot 8 Brass Band, bringing the original big brass sound to this year's weekender. The Sugarhill Gang are credited as being one of the groups to have invented hip hop in the late 70's. This is a chance to see genuine musical pioneers, with the surviving original members. A piece of history featuring some of the biggest dance-floor bangers performed live.

Joining this year's incredible line up are two time Grammy award winning and 5 time Brit Award nominated group Soul II Soul (live). Caron Wheeler and Jazzie B will bring the full live band to throw down such classics as Back to Life and Keep on Movin' for the funk and soul crowd.

Bringing you an eclectic mix of soul, jazz, house and hip hop, he will be joined by the original UK disco legend, Greg Wilson. The headliner from Soundcrash’s recent Albert Hall Show will be in attendance; Submotion Orchestra will provide their very special dub influenced, electronic soul sound to this year's weekender.

Also joining the bill are hip hop crew The Mouse Outfit, electronic act XOA, the undeniable Mr Thing, Brighton's DJ Format,   and Tru Thoughts' Werkha.

Good times ambassador Norman Jay rejoins the festival along with the undeniable Mr Scruff, both of whom made last year such a special debut. Bringing a taste of global and tropical selections, the psychedelic quintet taking the UK by storm Flamingods will also be providing a spectacular live performance with Wormfood's United Vibrations & Nubiyan Twist.

It doesn’t get more soulful than UK legend Omar, who adds his signature sound to the bill with an exceptional new album due to be launched this month, alongside Akua Naru, delivering her undisputed live show. Old meets new as Soundcrash welcome some of the frontrunners of the modern era; Jordan Rakei will supply some of the freshest sounds in the genre today.

Completing the lineup, Soundcrash have also invited some its favourite UK brands which include:

Tru Thoughts, Wah Wah Records, BBE, Band On the Wall, Strut, Mahogany Sessions, Fever 105, Sofar Sounds, Soundway, Tuckshop, Mr Bongo, Banana Hill, So Fresh So Clean, Total Refreshment Centre, Shut The Front Door, Kings Head/Kane FM, Leftfoot, Soul Jam, Stevie Wonderland and many more.
