BLOND:ISH Builds on Spirit of Her Album ‘Never Walk Alone’ With Remixes From ARTBAT, Notre Dame, and Alex Wann, Releasing via Insomniac Records

BLOND:ISH builds on the spirit of her recent album ‘Never Walk Alone’ with the official remix package arriving October 15th via Insomniac Records. The project enlists globally respected selectors ARTBAT, Notre Dame, and Alex Wann to reimagine standout moments from the LP through their own stylistic lenses.

Leading the collection, acclaimed duo ARTBAT elevates “Different Way”—BLOND:ISH’s collaboration with Brazilian vocalist Zeeba—into a luminous melodic journey. Zeeba’s soaring topline cuts through radiant synth progressions, undulating LFO leads, and shimmering arpeggios that surge into euphoric release. The original has already surpassed 5.1 million streams with support from outlets including Mixmag, When We Dip, and CULTR, alongside being featured in Kiss FM UK’s ‘Future Dance Anthems.’

In recent months, Parisian dj and producer Notre Dame has been touring across the globe and delivering other high-profile remixes for artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Bedouin, and Röyksopp. He launched his own label, Paranormal, and released music on the iconic French imprint Kitsuné. This July, he dropped “Give It To Me 2025,”a collaboration with Adriatique, Nelly Furtado, and Timbaland on Interscope, followed by a brand-new EP on Solomun’s Diynamic in August. Now Notre Dame sets his focus on BLOND:ISH’s collaboration with Black Circle, “Higher.” His rendition is enriched with a soul-stirring French touch-infused groove. Anchored by a steady bassline and crisp percussion, the organ-led offering layers airy synths and smooth textures for a vibey, laidback atmosphere ideal for sunset sets and day-to-night transitions.

Speaking to the emotional and hypnotic mood of his version, Notre Dame says, “When I first heard ‘Higher,’ I immediately connected with its spiritual energy, it felt both grounded and celestial. My goal with the remix was to lift that emotion even further, to push it into a more cinematic, groovy, and energetic space, while keeping the essence that makes the original so powerful.

Closing the set, Parisian powerhouse Alex Wann delivers a radiant afro house interpretation of the title track “Never Walk Alone” featuring Stevie Appleton, weaving sunlit piano chords and hypnotic vocal loops into a groove-driven progression. The original single has amassed more than 96 million streams, reached No.1 on Mediabase Dance Radio in the US, and continues to earn global support from BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM UK, and across major festival stages.

For ARTBAT, this marks another landmark with Insomniac Records, following their collaborations “Hollow” and “Culture” with MORTEN, which together have accumulated more than 36 million streams. Currently on tour with stops at Bonus Parkorman Istanbul, Sonora Festival Paris, and Terra Solis Dubai, the duo also continue expanding their acclaimed ‘UPPERGROUND’ label events, with a key upcoming edition in Buenos Aires on November 1.

Paris-based Notre Dame is a seasoned producer in the dance space, spending the better part of the last decade churning out emotionally resonant tracks that are polished, nuanced and informed by the legends from his homeland. The happy, feel-good thread running through his body of work allows him to fit right at home with BLOND:ISH, recently providing live support for her ‘Abracadabra’ showcases at Pacha Ibiza and Downtown LA. Notre Dame is currently embarking on a co-headline run of dates alongside Alex Wann.

By inviting ARTBAT, Notre Dame, and Alex Wann into the fold, BLOND:ISH extends the message of ‘Never Walk Alone’ through fresh perspectives. As part of Insomniac Records’ catalog, the project reinforces the label’s mission to spotlight visionary voices across dance music.
