Bodyrox Anthem ‘Yeah Yeah’ Gets Official Rework On Altra Moda By Wh0

Prominent yet mysterious UK duo Wh0 once again let their music do the talking with a superb new rework of Bodyrox’s 2006 dance floor smash ‘Yeah Yeah’ on Altra Moda Music. This latest serving of studio magic follows global smashes such as ‘Happy People’ ft. Byron Stingily on Positiva, ‘I Don’t Need Love’ with Karen Harding on Ultra Music and official remixes for Basement Jaxx, Sigma and The Prodigy.

Since forming in 2018, Wh0 have cooked up crowd pleasing studio magic numerous times from behind their black masks, on influential labels like Toolroom, Warner, Spinnin Deep, Polydor and Armada. Choosing to keep their identify hidden and the focus on the music, Wh0 have had three no.1 spots with Music Week, picked up more than 20 million Spotify streams and soon will be unveiling collaborations with the legendary likes of Marshall Jefferson and Nile Rodgers, and EDM hero, Laidback Luke.

Wh0’s tracks have become certified hits on BBC Radio 1, they have topped Spotify’s House Music Weekly chart, picked up Radio 1’s Dance Anthem title with ‘House Of Wh0’ and had support from Mistajam, Danny Howard and countless more along the way. Fresh ideas and scintillating grooves are at the heart of all Wh0 productions as well as releases on their own Wh0 Plays Records.

Dutch independent label Altra Moda has been responsible for chart topping dance sounds from cult figures like Tall Paul, Sonique, Gramophonedzie, to delivering fresh new takes on all time classics. These include remixes of the Blue Boy hit ‘Remember Me’ by Franky Rizardo and David Penn, and Michael’s Gray’s ‘The Weekend’, reworked by Low Steppa, Tim van Werd, Mat.Joe and Mousse T.

The label is a firm favourite with tastemakers such as Solardo, Todd Terry, Gorgon City and Danny Howard, and it continues to be on top of its game by signing another titanic pair in Wh0.

This time Wh0 turn their attention to the Bodyrox hit ‘Yeah Yeah’, which was first released on Eye Industries in September 2005 and became a huge hit in the clubs over the summer of 2006. A vocal version followed featuring Luciana, which went on to chart at #2 in the UK in November as well as all over Europe, Australia and New Zealand, culminating in nominations for an Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song and Best Video at the MTV Awards in Australia.

In the capable hands of Wh0, ‘Yeah Yeah’ is reimagined as a superb, tension-building house track with the sort of driving drums that sweep you off your feet. Carefully crafted synth patterns rise up and down the scale, while big claps bring the swing. The fiery vocals then add more fuel to the fire and once the tune drops at the mid point, the roof is sure to be blown off any club (once they’re open again!) With its big hooks and chunky drums, this is another surefire anthem from these studio wizards.

This remix is another fine entry into the hugely impressive Wh0 discography and is set to become one of the sounds of summer 2021.
