Booka Shade – The Unseen / Banderas

Booka Shade return to their Blaufield Music imprint the close out May armed with two club ready cuts entitled ‘The Unseen’ and ‘Banderas’.

With recent releases via John Digweed’s Bedrock, Toolroom Trax and their own Blaufield Music imprint, German duo Booka Shade’s current club-driven output has welcomed a wealth of support from all corners of the dance music community. Having spent the past few months on a worldwide tour with shows across the USA, Australia & New Zealand, Asia, South America, The Middle East and beyond, including a recent stand out return to London’s Printworks alongside Stephan Bodzin, the duo now returns to Blaufield to reveal two of their latest road-tested productions, unveiling ‘The Unseen / Banderas’ to open the summer months ahead.

Up first, ‘The Unseen’ draws on touches of classic Booka Shade material as rich, resonant lead lines blossom over refined percussion arrangements and sweeping atmospherics, whilst ‘Banderas’ takes things up a notch, unleashing a medley of warping, ever-evolving melodies, suspenseful builds and menacing synths to close out proceedings in fine fashion.

Booka Shade ‘The Unseen / Banderas’ is out on Blaufield Music on 31st May 2019.
