Melodymann - Bordeline EP

Madhouse kicks off 2018 with Melodymann’s ‘Borerline’ EP, featuring two original tracks.

Belgian producer and DJ Melodymann has been releasing twist of classic house sounds over the past few years on the likes of Melodymathics, home to music from KiNK, Dan Curtin and Alex Agore, Opilec Music and Groove Is Our Business as well as playing shows in hotspots such as Amsterdam, Cologne, London and Detroit in recent times. Here we see him joining the roster of Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse label, bringing the heavily swung, groove-led house style that’s synonymous with the imprint.

Title-track ‘Borderline’ leads with robust rhythms, choppy stab sequences and soaring diva style vocals to create a classic New Jersey inspired dance floor workout.

‘Burning’ follows and stands as a perfect counterpart to the original, taking things deeper with soft string swells, hooky vocal cuts, distorted shuffled drums and a wandering sub bass hook to carry the groove.

Melodymann’s ‘Borderline’ EP is out on Madhouse Records 19th January 2018.

Tracklist:

1.    Borderline
2.    Burning
