Ahead of the release of their upcoming debut album ‘ISTANTANEE’, the Italian duo Giolì & Assia have officially released ‘Borderline’, out now via their own imprint, Diesis Records and Distributed worldwide by Believe Distribution Services. The track and music video highlight the duo’s strengths as a rising electro/indie pop group, and showcases their signature combination of sound experimentation, melancholic vocals, and tribal elements.

The two young producers have made names for themselves individually, with Giolì rising to prominence in the international electronic music scene at a very young age; DJing and producing live shows with drums and synths. Her career – albeit still premature – has seen her play alongside the likes of Loco Dice, Deborah DeLuca, Radio Slave, Franky Rizardo, Chris Lake, and more. Assia Nania, a good friend of Giolì’s, has been lending her voice to her intricate productions for the past year, much to the delight of their fans. Ever since the inception of their creative partnership they've set out to deliver a balanced mixture toeing the line of soothing classical, and house music vibes.

In 2017 the pair embarked on successful winter and summer tours, and wrapped the year with a series of live shows in Europe and beyond, ending with a special live performance at the 'Timeout, 72hrs' event in Goa, India. Not only did their performances solidify their place as an established act in the electronic music scene, but also highlighted their upcoming debut album set to release early this year, ‘ISTANTANEE’. The first single off the album, ‘Starry Nights’, has amassed over 200k plays on Spotify alone since its December release, and has been featured in numerous playlists, not to mention the highly lauded ‘New Music Friday UK’ and ‘Electronic Brandneu’ in Germany where the track was featured first.
