Boundary Brighton – Gerd Janson added plus stage-split revealed

It's with tantalising intrigue that new south coast festival Boundary Brighton continues to take shape, as organisers reveal the stage split across each arena and add one of clubland's best loved DJs to billing for their debut show at Stanmer Park on Saturday 17th September 2016.

Few can command a dancefloor like Gerd Janson. As well as running renowned label Running Back, Gerd also holds down residencies at some of the globe's most respected nightlife spots, including Panorama Bar in Berlin and Robert Johnson in Hamburg. His explosive style fuses melodic techno, infectious house loops and cosmic disco, attracting revellers to the dancefloor like moths to a flame.

Revealing the stage-split across each arena, the picture of Boundary Brighton falls ever more into focus; Mixmag and Concord 2 present a Main Stage lineup with the biggest acts set to perform at Boundary including Craig David, Groove Armada, Wilkinson, Bondax and Jungle.

LWE and Patterns takeover the Warehouse – a custom-build structure specifically designed for the sonic subtleties of froward thinking electronic music. Offering a non-stop dance-off for Boundary Brighton party-goers, sets will come DJ elite with Jackmaster, Joy Orbison, Tom Trago, Charles Green, Mehtola, Mr Bongo Soundsystem and newly announced Gerd Janson all set to perform.

Immersive party brand elrow team up with The Arch for their Brighton debut at Boundary festival. Revealing the theme as 'Psychedelic Trip' they will fill the air at Stanmer Park with shimmering clouds of confetti and mountains of inflatables, beckoning festival-goers through the portal into a kaleidoscopic world of colour, fun and fantasy with soundtrack provided by Seth Troxler, Richy Ahmed, Solardo, Toni Varga, Sean Branton and Paul S.

The Boundary Bandstand stage's programming is an eclectic mashup of styles that nods to reggae, jungle, breaks, turntablism and generally a roots focused, "DIY" mentality. The eccentricity of Bob Kerr and his Whoopee Band, a mad cap jazz outfit formed in 1967 are joined by Mr Wilson's Second Liners – A New Orleans band who are bubbling over with serotonin infused 90's rave classics. This stage will also host the winner of the Busker and DJ Competitions. They'll be joined by bass heavyweights Congo Natty and Toddla T plus Jaguar Skills will bring his mind bending selection to this unique setting.
