A name that has long been in the spotlight, São Paulo-based producer Volkoder has built up an extensive back catalogue on labels such as Hot Creations, Material, and Toolroom, charting several tracks in the Beatport Top 10 and millions of streams on Spotify. The South American talent’s latest venture sees a return to Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars for his seventh outing on the revered LA label.
Combining warping vox samples with punchy drums, pounding bass and wonky synth lines, ‘Body’ is a full-blown club smash destined to do damage on dancefloors. Next, ‘Ally’ takes a more bass-driven route with bulbous basslines, distorted synths, and bubbling sub-frequencies.
