The New World Order EP will land on UK label GFR Music, exclusively via Bandcamp.
At a time when global attention is focused on the ongoing COVID crisis, and the new dark chapter opened by Russia’s recent invasion of Ukraine, the New World Order EP is a breath of fresh air.
New World Order marks Arkade’s debut on UK techno agency FCTC AGY and the beginning of the duo’s residency at FUSE CLUB. The EP, made of three original tracks, arrives at LondonGFR Music on 27th May 2022.
André Luki and Renato March, the men behind Arkade, produce a dynamic blend of techno and groove. Drawing influences from their hometown, Brazil, their style includes tropical rhythms, rich percussion and melodies; as well as hard-hitting, raw patterns.
With 20 years of combined experience, the duo has made a name for themselves, playing at numerous clubs across Brazil, the likes of Anzu Club, Sirena (Maresias), Heaven & Hell and Delux.e Club. In addition, they have releases on European labels such as Patent Skillz Records (Bulgaria), Oscuro Music (UK), Egothermia Records (The Netherlands); and South American ones such as Brazilian Noise Music (ran by Anderson Noise), Puchero Records (Costa Rica), Muzenga Records and Kombo Records, to mention a few.
Arkade’s upcoming New World Order EP is “proper”, powerful — hypnotic at times — Techno.
FUSE CLUB is a young techno nightclub that aims to establish a self-defined concept of techno music with each installment, as well as a platform for world talent to bring fresh and interesting sounds to the dancefloor.
GFR Music, the techno branch of London imprint Goldfangs Rosé Music, is slowly becoming a reliable source of emerging global talent and fresh club sounds.
