Tough Love join forces with Trutopia this November for ‘Break’, their new collaborative single on MadTech Records.
London’s Alex and Stefan aka Tough Love have carved out quite the name for themselves both as underground and crossover acts in the realms of house music. Making their mark with two UK top 40’s & releases on Toolroom, Mother, Nothing Else Matters, Nervous & Dopewax and of course their own Get Twisted imprint. As well as headline shows this year at hotspots like Amnesia, Victoria Warehouse We Are FSTVL & SW4. Here we see Tough Love paired up with up and comers Trutopia, a fellow London duo making similar waves via releases on the likes of Cr2, Strictly Rhythm, Armada Subjekt and Sweat It Out amongst others.
The foursome’s new single 'Break' is a five and a half minute cut based employing an infectious bass hook, multilayered, hooky vocal lines and weighty drums at the core of the composition whilst tension building sweeps and snare rolls keep things moving throughout.
