Bridges for Music X ADE X Boiler Room…

Global electronic music broadcast platform, Boiler Room (www.boilerroom.tv) and non-profit Bridges for Music (www.bridgesformusic.org) have teamed up once again at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) to create a night of amazing music, coming together with the shared vision of using electronic music to bridge gaps, inspire people and enhance opportunities in disadvantaged areas across the world.

Taking place on Thursday 20th October at ATELIER (atelier-schinkel.amsterdam/ ) in Amsterdam, the night's lineup will feature South Africa's biggest name in electronic music of the moment, BLACK COFFEE, as well as Dutch based artist, SATORI performing his signature live set and Montreal born duo BLONDISH, who have carved out a niche thanks to their dark, sensual club music, sultry DJ sets and outrageous, fun-loving attitude. Cape Town based producers, RYAN MURGATROYD and AUDIOJERK, who are affiliated with Bridges for Music, are both exciting artists rounding off this incredible lineup.

Ryan Murgatroyd has had recent international success, releasing his iKalimba EP on Get Physical, and will be releasing a brand new EP "Down Dog", also through the Get Physical label on the 21st October. Ryan's distinctive live set will be packed full of his own released, and yet to be heard productions. Audiojerk is one of the rising stars through the Bridges for Music organization. This being his first time travelling outside of South Africa, he is definitely someone to watch for the future. He, with long time friend & producer Siphe Tebeka, have recently had a track released under the moniker STAB Virus, on Coyu's Suara label.

This is a momentous occasion for Bridges for Music for two reasons. Firstly, this week saw the start of the construction for the Music & Entrepreneurship school in the Cape Town township of Langa. Secondly it would be exactly two years since their successful "Cycle to ADE" challenge with the help of Resident Advisor, where they were able to raise the funds needed to start process leading to the schools construction.
