Can’t Let Go is the debut collab between experienced producer & DJ Aruhtra, Brit-
nominated & platinum singer/songwriter Kye Sones and Rick Live is out now through V Records on 31st March 2023.
The song speaks about leaving someone and not being able to let go of the feelings
and love for that someone. The catchy deep melodic bass and the classic upbeat piano chords
mixed with smooth ambience make for a huge summer tune that someone can relate to and
dance to at the same time! One to watch for this year for sure.
The past few years it’s been only up for the London born soul singer/ songwriter Kye Sones.
Writing and featuring on records for some of the most exciting artists in dance music. Features
with Lost Frequencies, Andrew Rayel, Pat Lok and most recently Zonderling has been a great
introduction to the world of dance music and has cemented Kye as one of the top guys for
vocals and song writing. As a live vocalist he has joined his DJ collaborators on some of their
biggest shows including touring the summer festivals as the live vocalist for DJ Lost
Frequencies. The biggest stage was set when Lost Frequencies headlined TOMORROWLAND
festival with Kye providing the live vocals and it was one to remember. His experience as a
front man with his old band supporting Calvin Harris and the Scissor Sisters provided him with
the fierce stage presence and fire to take on the festival crowds. He continues to grow as a
writer and producer having written songs for artists like David Guetta and Becky Hill and artists
on Sony, Universal, Armada, Ultra, Kitsune, Hospital records, disco:wax, Black butter, E.M.I
and MAU5TRAP. He has also racked up millions of streams releasing his own music and even
composed and co-produced the music for a BAFTA award winning TV show. He has more solo
singles ready for release this year and more live shows across Europe. For this guy there is
certainly much more to come.
Aruhtra has been entertaining crowds for over two decades playing in multiple continents in
that time from Europe stretching over to Asia and North America. He now resides in the world-famous luxury party destination, Marbella as a resident for Puente Romano which is a classy
beach resort and club.
Since before his teens, Rick Live has been rocking some of the notorious bars and Nightclubs
across the UK from Brighton, Liverpool, Canterbury, Reading and the list continues, he has
also acquired some International Residencies in Ibiza, Malia & Australia. Whether it’s R&B, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Grime or Garage – if it gets the people going, he plays it! He also brings originality and creativity to his sets with live remixing, giving a personal spin on current hits and classic tracks. Tempo transitions and beat juggling are also standard procedures in a Rick Live set.
He has been fortunate enough to DJ at some of the UK’s finest (Wembley arena, the o2
Arena) and had played alongside many of his idols and inspirations, from spinning with Tim
Westwood, Heartless Crew, DJ Luck & MC Neat, DJ EZ, to supporting stars like Dynamite,
BBK, Skepta, Giggs & along their path to stardom.
Rick Live hit his first million streams with the single ‘Raise Em Up’ together with AloneStar
and global superstar Ed Sheeran.
