Hailing from Brooklyn with heavy grooves and breezy attitudes, Bungalow Collect return with ‘It Takes 2’. Continuing to climb throughout 2025, their self-styled disco-rap sound, genre-blending and funk-fuelled, is ascending from signature sound to genre innovation.
Built on guitar riffs, radiant brass, dancefloor-engineered basslines, and orchestra hits that jump out of the speakers, it’s playful and pure, but intentional and brimming with talent. The flows are effortless, swaggering and uniquely fresh. It’s a crossover you didn’t know you needed, but can’t quite put down: infectious shimmer woven seamlessly with rhythmic hip-hop punch.
They share, “In the last 10 months, we’ve seen the world react to Disco Rap, with hundreds of comments praising the positive energy of our new genre, so we decided to double down on our innovative sound and make another full project of disco rap.”
Formed way back in 2021, the four-piece has locked into a creative chemistry that has powered them across the US. Going viral on multiple occasions, their ethos has now reached a global audience, and they’ve been making music that feels like a celebration of this radical rise.
