Allies For Everyone kicks the summer season into high gear with two fiery remix singles lifted from his latest EP Bunker. The first offering, Bunker (Remixes), includes reworks of the atmospheric and introspective title track/lead single. Fellow label mates Nightriders open the proceedings with a more bouncy and radiant, melancholic pop take on the original laced with melodic acoustic guitar, plucky stabs, smoky sax and a rush of atmospheric synths that will keep hands in the air. AFE’s own Brian Suarez delivers a darker bass-heavy, deep and airy “Alternate Mix” that expands on the song’s mesmeric nighttime moodiness. NYC-based techno/deep house/minimal producer and DJ Jay Hill (aka “Lady Jay”) closes the set with an afterhours deep minimal-tech mix injected with pumping bottom-heavy bass, hypnotic electro pulses and a driving, narcotic groove.
Be on the lookout for Allies’ second remix single All Gone (Remixes) to follow in the coming weeks with mixes by JamLimmat & Raul De La Orza, Laurent Leroy, Kodomo and AFE.
